Please help support the animals at the Cat Ranch. I'm working hard to build a place that's safe and comfortable for them. But the cost is more than I can handle on my own.

It's so hard to ask for help no matter how badly it's needed. I want to thank all those who have provided assistance in the past and those who will in the future. I am already in your debt.

Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers.

There've been so many changes in my life in the past year, it's hard to know where to begin...but the crux of it is, the real world changes required my undivided attention. Maybe if I can find my way back to real computer use, I can enter some of it here. Of course, there's always the possibility that I will be without a computer since this one is now over three years old and full of major problems.

When Outlook Express crashed and then IE, I thought I was a goner for sure. But I had already downloaded Firefox and I have to say, it saved me. This is actually a very cool very lite program. I see that Microsoft will be using some of its features in the next version of IE. The tabs feature is just the best! AND I didn't have to do a lot of patches and updates just to get started as I did with IE.

Get Firefox!

I had to do something about my email too so I went to the same place and got Thunderbird. It's really serving me well.

My political activities have not ceased, while all the great people who look for my magazine have been consistently disappointed as I have neglected it for too long. Again, it was about real world problems and computer disfunctionality that made it impossible to keep updated.

I'm still without a working printer, though. So I'm pretty much limited to email or hand-written notes or places like Diaryland. :)
